She's one of the most eligible bachelorettes in Hollywood, and Olivia Wilde was busy keeping up on her figure with a trip to the gym in Los Angeles on Saturday (July 2).

The "House" hottie showed off her inner-hippie while donning a Grateful Dead t-shirt and black tights as she and a gal pal took to the fitness center for the holiday weekend workout.

In related news, Miss Wilde happens to be featured in the new copy of the Los Angeles Times magazine - in which she recalled an experience during her regular trips to Haiti on behalf of Artists for Peace and Justice ever since the Caribbean country was leveled by a massive earthquake in 2010.

She told, "I was crouched outside this cholera clinic, sitting on a cinder block with my phone, [about] to help hand out rice at a refugee camp and figure out how our students can build more classrooms. It was hard for me to be on the ball during that call, but I had to remember that acting is actually my job. Whenever I want to say, ?F?k Hollywood,? I have to remember that the reason I am even useful in Haiti is because I have a job here.?

In the article, Olivia also received kind words from her "The Change-Up" director, David Dobkin, who firmly said that she is ?going to blow up. She doesn?t just fulfill a role. She?s smart. She?s cutting-edge. She is her own thing. I feel like I?m looking at another Faye Dunaway, breaking big.?

Naomie Harris thinks the forthcoming 23rd James Bond movie will have a ''very special'' feeling to it.

The British actress is a contender for a leading role in the forthcoming Sam Mendes-directed movie - which sees Daniel Craig reprise his role as the iconic British spy - and although her part is not confirmed, she believes having met the filmmaker it will be a particularly good film in the franchise.

She said: "It would be great to be part of Bond but nothing is confirmed yet. Sam Mendes is an amazing director and a really, really lovely man as well.

He's got brilliant ideas. From meeting them, I think it's going to be a very special Bond.

The 34-year-old star has watched the spy movies, but does not have a favourite film, instead preferring the acting talents of eccentric singer Grace Jones, who previously appeared as May Day in 'A View to a Kill'.

She told Empire magazine: "Grace Jones did a Bond that I thought was really cool. She wasn't a Bond girl, though. She was more of a villain!"

Yesterday afternoon, Darion and I made our way downtown to attend the 2011 Anime Expo going on at the Convention Center this weekend so that we could attend the Hatsune Miku concert. Hatsune Miku, you ask? Well, she is the world?s first hologram popstar. She is a computer generated singer who has been all the rage in Japan for the past few years. Last night?s concert was her first ever here in the US. As a big Jem and the Holograms fan from back in the day, there was no way I was gonna miss seeing this real life hologram concert.

Altho Miku isn?t a real person, her backing band is made up of real people ? 10 people, to be exact. A 6-person string section, guitarist, basist, keyboardist and drummer. She also has 3 hologram friends who perform with her sometimes. Here are some photos of what Miku looks like on stage:

The 46-year-old beauty - who revealed earlier this year her marriage to Arun Nayar was over after it emerged she had been secretly dating former cricketer Shane Warne - finds getting older "liberating" because she is more open to new things.

The 'Green Lantern' actor - who split from wife Scarlett Johansson in December after two years of marriage - insists he isn't a workaholic, but even in his down time is happy to turn his attention to business calls because making movies is not a difficult profession.

He said: "My hobbies are. work. No, I'm kidding. But I do love to work and my hobby is also my career.

Am I a workaholic? It depends who you ask. I don't think so. I think when I have time off I really use it, but I work in Hollywood. It's not like I'm a neurosurgeon. I can take a phone call when I'm relaxing.

The 55-year-old writer cited irreconcilable differences in papers filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (01.07.11), two months after he admitted to fathering a boy named Joseph with housekeeper Mildred Baena 13 years ago while he was still married to Maria.

She is seeking shared custody of their children Patrick, 17 and Christopher, 13, as well as seeking spousal support from the former Governor of California and asking him to pay her lawyer fees.

The couple also have grown up children 21-year-old Katherine and Christina, 19 from their 25 year marriage.

Whatever she did in the aftermath was taking care of her kids, trying to shield them.

Maria is said to not be angry at Mildred because of the affair, and confronted her after she saw the similarity between Joseph and Arnold.

A source said: "While Maria may not have been as angry as Mildred as she was at Arnold, her instinct would be to protect her family.

"Whatever she did in the aftermath was taking care of her kids, trying to shield them."

Arnold, 63, is reportedly already handing out a "significant" amount of child support to Maria.

A source said: "Arnold is paying a significant amount of child support. Arnold is also paying for his sons, Patrick and Christopher's private school bills."

LOS ANGELES � Tom Hanks' arrival on a beat-up 1981 Yamaha Riva scooter at the Larry Crowne premiere Monday gave a glimmer of hope to the growing subculture of scooter riders across the country.

Could the oft-ridiculed form of transportation become accepted in America's movie-land?

Hollywood has learned to embrace the motorcycle for adventure along with the Prius to save the planet (and for cheaper fuel bills) ? shouldn't the scooter, which encompasses all of these points, now have its place in the spotlight?

With the scooter-heavy Larry Crowne opening Friday, it might be now or never. Hanks, a veritable Mayor of Moped-land, is leading the charge in more ways than one.

"We should all be on these scooters, Los Angeles should look like Taipei," he beamed. "Hey it's dirt cheap and you have the wind blowing through your hair on a beautiful day like today."

Hanks plays a man forced to ride a scooter in tough economic times in his romantic comedy with Julia Roberts. But he backs the role up as a proud owner of $3,200 Genuine Buddy in real life.

His support mirrors a national trend of scooter sales which directly follows the prices of gas. The Motorcycle Industry Council reports that when gas prices spiked in 2008, scooter sales hit an all-time high. Sales are hot again nationally in 2011, up 50 percent in the first quarter year-over-year.

Actors Zach Galifianakis and David Duchovny are just a couple of Hollywood's recent converts to the mode of transportation.

But not everyone in Hollywood is convinced that scooters are practical. Rita Wilson politely declined to join her husband on the ride so she could appropriately bling-out for the premiere. The casually-dressed Hanks, she lovingly pointed out, looked like he was going to be attending "a basketball game."

When asked if a man can still be cool and ride a scooter, Wilson answered carefully as her husband looked on.

"I think you can be scooter cool," she said slowly. "But you have to see beyond the helmet. Not even Brad Pitt looks good in these helmets."

Hanks helmet looks particularly goofy in Larry Crowne. But Philip McCaleb, owner of Chicago's Genuine Scooter who provided scooters for Crowne, says there are far better looking helmets. Hanks was "embracing his inner dork" with his selection, he says.

But still others on the Crowne's red carpet were less diplomatic about scooter's potential to dazzle Tinsel-town. Crowne co-star Rob Riggle pondered for a moment what it would take to get him on a Vespa.

"If I was being chased by some sort of large animal that was faster than me," he finally said, "then yes, absolutely, a Vespa would be an option."

But none of this naysaying could stifle the enthusiastic Hanks from spreading the good word from his premiere bully pulpit. He even tried to convert pal Larry David by shouting across the red carpet about the scooter's ability to maneuver LA's notorious traffic.

"How bad was it on Sunset and the 405 on the way here?" asked Hanks loudly. "You know, you really should have come in a scooter."

David smiled, waved a dismissive hand and walked into the movie. Hanks has his work cut out for him.

MLB deals A-Rod a poker probe

Alex Rodriguez denies allegations that he played in an illegal poker ring.

Yankees�slugger Alex Rodriguez is batting down a report he took part in Tinseltown's top-secret Texas Hold'Em circuit.

"Mr. Rodriguez has not participated in these poker games," spokesman Richard Rubenstein told the Daily News after Star Magazine reported A-Rod was one of the A-list ring's clandestine card sharks.

Star claimed to have three sources placing A-Rod at a high-stakes game at the home of one of the ring's regular high rollers.

"Initially, A-Rod came to the game and simply watched," an unnamed source told Star. "But once he knew what it was all about, he (bought) into the game. He played two or three times, I would estimate."

A-Rod's denial comes six years after the Daily News reported his visits to illegal poker parlors in New York and his vow to walk away.

"This is the first we have heard about this and we will look into it," MLB spokesman Pat Courtney said when asked about the allegation.

Poker player Adam Bilzerian also told Star he played with A-Rod in Las Vegas a few years ago and at a private home in the last 18 months.

It's unclear if the home was in Los Angeles.

"Alex busted everyone except me. I was like whoa, this guy can play. He had an amazing run. He won about $20,000 and left with everyone's money," Bilzerian, 27, said of the encounter at the Bellagio in Vegas.

Bilzerian, a pro poker player who renounced his U.S. citizenship, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Back in 2005, Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig was "very unhappy" with A-Rod's poker club visits, telling sources they sent the wrong message to young fans.

Hollywood's secret poker ring was exposed recently in a flurry of bankruptcy lawsuits tied to convicted Ponzi schemer Brad Ruderman.

The lawsuits claim the "exclusive" games were invitation-only and took place at high-end hotels, clubs or private residences with players betting hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Actor Tobey Maguire is being sued for his winnings, and other A-list names reportedly in on the games were Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Just as Princess Diana and Prince Charles did on William's first birthday, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge planted an Eastern Hemlock tree in the shadow of the Pin Oak planted by William's parents to symbolize their love.

As for the girl in the blue beret, he discovers her living near Cognac. A widow. She recognizes him immediately and tells him her family took in other aviateurs during the occupation.

"'You remembered me as the girl in the blue beret. ? Is it not so?'" she said. "'But our signals varied. Sometimes I wore a Scottish scarf. One of the aviateurs wrote me and he remembered me as the girl in the red socks!'

"He (Stone) laughed. "'The girl in the red socks. It doesn't have the same ring to it.'"

Despite Gaga's occasional onstage stumbles in concert, we're sure the 'Born This Way' singer, 25, will fare just fine critiquing the fancy footwork and charisma of this season's electric performers. But the question is: Will she offend any innocent 'SYTYCD' hopefuls with her usual outlandish antics? Don't forget, this is the woman who hilariously hijacked a recent late-night interview and ate David Letterman's notes when she didn't like his line of questioning. Limber up, dancers, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

THEY'RE HE-ERE: A few days after enjoying the action at Wimbledon, Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in Canada for the start of their North American sojourn. The Duchess of Cambridge (and 11th cousin to Jane Austen) switched out of her "casual" traveling togs for a camera-ready midnight-blue affair before they landed and, what do you know, looked pretty picture perfect. On Friday, on what would have been Princess Diana's 50th birthday (thanks, Newsweek, for pointing out the impossible), they made the rounds in honor of Canada Day. The dazzling duo will be in the Americas for 10 days, concluding their trip in Hollywood among the comparably less elite.

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE: Shia LaBeouf spilled the hookup beans in Details and is now feeling a little remorseful about admitting to an offscreen dalliance with Megan Fox while the pair were playing an onscreen item in Transformers. The "f--king idiot" (Harrison Ford's words, not ours!) and object of Selena Gomez's admiration blames his age?he's 25, which is rather old in Hollywood years?but we blame douchiness. And Fox, because she's so pretty, hence everything is her fault. (And Josh Duhamel wonders why poor Megan gets a bad rap...)
