K-Rod settles child-support dispute with ex gal-pal

K-Rod has closed out the child-support dispute that exploded when he decked his girlfriend's father.

Terms of the settlement between Mets relief fireballer Francisco Rodriguez and ex-galpal Daian Pena were not disclosed.

But it's expected the $12 million-a-year closer will have to pay more than the standard 25% in salary for care of his toddler twins.

"I'm ready to close this chapter of my life and move forward with my children," Pena said after the Friday morning court hearing.

K-Rod and Pena began dating in their native Venezuela seven years ago. The relationship headed south after the volatile Rodriguez went ballistic on Pena's father, Carlos, at Citi Field last August.

Rodriguez was arrested and charged and sentenced to undergo anger management. He still faces a civil suit from Carlos Pena.

K-Rod called into�Friday's settlement conference from Pittsburgh, where the Mets were slated to play to Pirates.

"I am pleased to see that the parties have resolved all the issues in this action," Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Laura Drager said.

"They are pleased to have peacefully resolved this matter in the best interests of their son and daughter," said Pena's lawyer, Jeff Korek.

"The case has been settled in an amicable fashion," Rodriguez' lawyer, Robert H. Moses, said afterward. "Mr. Rodriguez is grateful that he can concentrate on playing baseball."
