Kirstie Alley visits accused perv Dominique Strauss-Kahn's neighbor in Tribeca

Actress Kirstie Alley pops by a friend's house, which just happens to be next door to former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Kirstie Alley's gone from "Dancing With the Stars" to rubbing elbows with Le Perv.

The former "Cheers" star arrived Saturday for a visit at a friend's Tribeca home - and discovered accused sex offender Dominique Strauss-Kahn was living next door.

"There are walls between us," the actress said with a laugh when asked if she was unnerved by the Frenchman's presence at the adjoining Franklin St. building.

As Strauss-Kahn remained under round-the-clock surveillance by an armed guard inside his $14 million "jail," the 60-year-old Alley toted her luggage across the sidewalk after arriving in an SUV.

She seemed stunned by the rush of reporters staking out the residence where the French politician remains under house arrest.

"In America, you are innocent until proven guilty," Alley said while repeatedly ringing the building's buzzer, hoping to escape the media crush. "I love our system of justice.

"Who knows what really happened?" she continued. "Hopefully, the truth comes out."

Alley - who just finished second on this year's "Dancing With The Stars" - put her foot down when asked if she planned to send Strauss-Kahn a housewarming gift.

"No," she responded curtly.
