It was an afternoon of mother and daughter time yesterday (June 28) for Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava Phillippe. The two stepped out for lunch in Brentwood, CA for some girl time.

Yesterday Reese spent some time working on a project that is near and dear to her heart. She shot a new ad for Stand Up 2 Cancer.

Witherspoon was just nominated for two Teen Choice Awards. Her film Water For Elephants is up for Drama Film and she?s up personally for Actress Drama. He co-star Robert Pattinson is also up for Actor Drama for the film.
