Police search for gunman who fatally shot man riding bicycle in Long Beach

LONG BEACH - Police searched today for a gunman who shot a man to death as he rode a bicycle in Long Beach.

Thirty-four-year-old Pablo Ortiz of Long Beach was shot in the 2100 block of East 14th Street around 7:30 p.m Tuesday, the Long Beach Police Department said in a statement. He died in an area hospital.

Police had no information on the shooter or a motive.
