Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is the new face of Coach.

Coach has confirmed that the leggy, blond actress and cookbook author will be its new international brand ambassador to mark its 70th anniversary campaign this fall and into the spring, reports Women's Wear Daily.

"I grew up in New York City and I've always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand," Paltrow said. "I'll never forget getting my first Coach bag.?

Coach's creative director called Paltrow, who has posed for Christian Dior and Estee Lauder a "natural choice"for the brand's celebration.

The brand is cranking up the heat to celebrate its big anniversary. Not only have they bagged Paltrow, but the company is rereleasing five of its classic designs from the 1970s, through Net-a-Porter.

The styles include a bucket bag, a duffel, a hobo, a menswear-briefcase style and a small shoulder purse with thick, unfinished and features simple turn-lock hardware.

The Classics collection will range in price from $300 to $500 and will be available starting June 15.
