Jennifer Aniston is getting friendly with the West Village after all.

After reportedly opting out of a contract to buy a $15 million penthouse at 2 Horatio St., the former "Friends" star is about to close on two separate one-bedroom units on the 17th and 18th floors of a swanky building on W. 12th St., the Daily News has learned.

A West Village real estate source said Aniston is set to close today on the 18th floor apartment, a small penthouse apartment, and then close on the 17th floor unit within days.

The actress plans to combine the apartments into a one large duplex with about 2,700-square-feet of interior space and more than 900-square-feet of outdoor space with a wrap-around terrace on the top floor which features panoramic views of the city.

"She would definitely need more space than one apartment," said a source close to Aniston. "Her closet alone wouldn't fit in a one-bedroom."

The penthouse, which Aniston bought from celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger, was the most expensive of the homes, listed at $5.9 million, the source said.

The 17th floor unit went to contract approximately two weeks ago after being listed at $1.8 million.

Developer Bing & Bing built the apartment house in 1931 by New York City developer Bing & Bing. Renowned local architect Emery Roth designed it.

Stephen Shadley, who decorated Aniston's Beverly Hills home, said he knows nothing about the deal. None of the listing brokers would comment. Aniston is known for asking for non-disclosure agreements on real estate transactions.
