Owen Wilson has split from his girlfriend and mother of his 5-month-old son, Robert, because he didn?t want to commit.

Owen Wilson, 42, and the former air marshal, Jade Duell, have ended their relationship.

Sources claim Owen wanted freedom to do what he wanted?dating other chicks?while still remaining a family with Jade and the baby, Robert.

The source said, ?But Jade wasn?t willing to go along with that, so Owen decided to end things with her instead of cheating behind her back.?

Duell and baby Robert reportedly moved to New York with her family while Owen still lives in Santa Monica, California.

Jade and Owen met last year when the air marshal sat next to him on a flight.
