The Matthew Morrison Story: From 'Plea' and 'Flee' to 'Glee' (Video)

Morrison recently took to the humor site to spoof the long road that led him to 'Glee' -- there was 'Plea' (a courtroom musical drama) and 'Flee' (in which Morrison played an inmate who broke out into song but never out of jail), both of which prepared the late blooming singer and foot-tapper for the role of a lifetime, a low wage high school Glee club director with a more than questionable hair care routine.
Even resident 'Gossip Girl' heartthrob, Chace Crawford's career was inspired by Morrison's persistence: "Matt taught me a lot about surfing, really how to ride that wave out to the very end," Crawford said. "That taught me a lot about love and life and how to cook an oatmeal frittata and how to build up my pecks."
The short biographical special also offers never before scene video from Morrison's early casting call days for films like 'Pulp Fiction,' 'Se7en' and 'American History X' -- all gigs that Morrison never landed because he just couldn't get past his nice guy ways.
So sit back and take some time to learn about your favorite 'Glee' club teacher's highest highs and lowest lows.
