Maria Ledesma, a 50-year-old Lake View Terrace woman with a diminished mental capacity, was still missing today, Friday, June 10, 2011. Ledesma, who needs daily medication, walked away from her home in the 11700 block of Terra Bella Street, near Fenton Avenue, on Thursday, police said Ledesma was described as Latino, 5 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds. She has a light complexion with shoulder-length black hair and was wearing a white shirt with a gray sweater and black tights. Ledesma was possibly on foot but may have taken public transportation. LAKE VIEW TERRACE - A 50-year-old Lake View Terrace woman who has a diminished mental capacity and needs daily medication was still missing today.

Maria Ledesma walked away from her home in the 11700 block of Terra Bella Street, near Fenton Avenue, on Thursday, police said.

Ledesma, who may have become lost, never returned home and needs medicine to prevent critical health problems, police said.

Ledesma was described as Latino, 5 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds. She has a light complexion with shoulder-length black hair and was wearing a white shirt with a gray sweater and black tights. Ledesma was possibly on foot but may have taken public transportation.

Police urged anyone with information on Ledesma's whereabouts to contact the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station at 818-756-8861 or 877-LAPD-24-7 for after-hours calls.
