Alex Reid is trying to move on with his life

Alex Reid admits his split from wife Katie Price left him feeling really low.

Asked if it pushed him to the brink of suicide, the cage fighter tells Now: 'At my lowest point I felt it would be easier to not be here.'

But Alex, 35, says his support network of friends and family have been amazing.

'Life goes on and I've got a great set of people around me who pick me up when I'm feeling down,' he adds.

'I've been angry, upset and I've done some grieving. There have been some tough times and now I'm moving on. I have to.

'I feel like I've come through a storm and the clouds are settling and there are beautiful sunny skies ahead.'

Katie, 32, is now dating toyboy Leandro Penna, 25.
