Man injured in fire at Sun Valley home

SUN VALLEY - A man was injured today at the scene of a house fire in Sun Valley, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to the 9100 block of Cayuga Avenue at 7:07 a.m. doused the flames in 16 minutes, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The man was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, and was listed in fair condition, Scott said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
