Jessica Alba: Being a mother defines me

Jessica Alba looks radiant in an electric blue Versace gown
Since shooting to fame in the sci-fi TV series Dark Angel, Jessica Alba has taken on a wide variety of acting roles.
Jessica's just finished working on Spy Kids 4, and while she refuses to be pigeonholed as an actress, there's one role she always loves playing, and that's being mum to her two-year-old daughter Honor Marie.
The actress, who's married to film producer Cash Warren, 32, also recently announced that she's expecting a second child.
'I love acting because it allows me to be, I think, the best mum,' Jessica, 29, tells Now.
'I work for two or three weeks and then I can spend the rest of the time with my daughter. I get to be completely hands-on with her.
'Most of my friends who work are away all day and never see or spend time with their kids.
'I bring my daughter to the set.
'She has no idea that it's a movie set. She just thinks of my trailer as Mummy's office.'
Jessica has no trouble separating work from her home life.
'Yeah, it's pretty easy for me. This job doesn't define me,' she says.
'Being a mother defines me, being a daughter, a wife, a good friend and being loyal.'
